Counselor Positions

After-School Counselor Positions - Starting August 1st

Minimum age: 16

Schedule: 2:00pm-6:00pm Monday - Friday

Requirements:

  • Must have a clear background check.

  • CPR and First Aid certifications required, but courses are provided.

Summer Camp Counselor Positions - Starting June

Minimum age: 16

Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday

Requirements:

  • Must have a clear background check.

  • CPR and First Aid certifications required, but courses are provided.

After-School Van Driver

Works closely with the center management team to efficiently plan daily bus schedules, provide transportation for students, and continuous supervision of assigned children.

Schedule: 1:30pm-3:00pm, Monday, Tuesday and Friday (3 days a week) or Monday - Friday (5 days a week) (option to extend hours if also interested in After-School Counselor position)

Qualifications: Maintain a valid driver’s license. Be a minimum of 21 years of age. Have no record of a commercial motor vehicle moving violation, reckless/careless driving offence, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), or a suspended driver’s license.

Responsibilities: Provide safe transportation for children. Ensure that vehicles are consistently clean and safe. Deliver nurturing care and continuous supervision of assigned children.

Training requirements: CPR-First Aid Training, 20 hours of paid professional development through Bright From The Start DECAL.

Salary: $18 an hour
